Even though we are potty trained, sometimes wipes are handy to have around to clean up accidents:) I have been using these wipes since my now 5 year old was only months old. They are gentle, soothing, smell great and he never had a terrible diaper rash when I was using them. The lavender is calming, so when he was fussy about diaper changing, I would tear a wipe off and place it on his face and it would calm him down a few notches. As he got older he would often ask for a wipe while changing him and rub it all over his face savoring the heavenly scent of the lavender. Give them a try!

Homemade Baby Wipes Recipe

  • 2-2 1/2 cups of water – depending on how absorbent your paper towels are
  • 8 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops tea tree essential oil
  • one roll of paper towels
  • some kind of container with a lid to keep wipes in – I use a plastic shoe box size container.

In a bowl or measuring up, mix water and essential oils together. Place your paper towel roll in the chosen storage container and pour the water mixture over it. The wipes should be wet, but not sopping. Use as needed.
